Why Choose Carpet Cure?

Our Education…

Carpet Cure is certified by the IICRC (Institute for Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification).  The IICRC is the nation’s most recognized body of certification in our industry.  Never use a carpet cleaning firm who isn’t certified.  In fact, allowing an uncertified carpet cleaning company to clean your new carpets will void your warranty!  In addition to being IICRC Certified, our staff participates in ongoing educational courses and studies to ensure that we are up to date on the latest technologies and techniques that can be applied to your cleaning needs.

Our Experience…

We are experienced in all fabric types and all cleaning methods.  Commercially, we prefer a cleaning method called encapsulation (the results are far better than “old school” shampooing).  Most readers of this website are searching for residential services, particularly carpet cleaning in Macon, Warner Robins or Forsyth, GA.  For most residential cleaning jobs, we use powerful state of the art van mounted Hot Water Extraction equipment so that we can deliver the best possible performance to each customer.  Hot Water Extraction, also called Steam Cleaning, is the carpet cleaning method recommended by all major carpet manufacturers and is required to maintain most new carpet warranties.  We utilize an 8-step cleaning process for our basic maintenance carpet cleaning and a 12-step cleaning process for our ultimate restorative carpet cleaning.  This process exceeds expectations for interim cleaning and has played a vital role in the development of our excellent carpet cleaning reputation.

Our Systems…

We have an unbeatable restorative carpet cleaning process that can guarantee you – NO RETURNING SPOTS!  This carpet cleaning process goes WAY beyond what most carpet cleaner’s even think about doing and is “wowing” customers every day.  Seeing is believing and you have to see the results of our restorative carpet cleaning process to absorb how thorough it really is.  With quick drying times (sometimes dry before we leave) and supreme cleaning results, Carpet Cure has been placed at the forefront of the carpet cleaning industry in Macon, Forsyth, Warner Robins and other surrounding areas.

Here are a few of the professional services we offer:

Carpet Cleaning – We are IICRC certified and proficient in all 5 approved methods of carpet cleaning.  We are qualified and insured for both residential and commercial carpet cleaning.  Often, we use an 8 step hot water extraction process for maintenance cleaning and a 12 step hot water extraction process for restorative cleaning.  Sometimes, we’ll combine our 12 step with another method such as encapsulation or shampooing if the carpet has really been neglected.

Upholstery Cleaning – We are certified by the IICRC to properly clean and care for fine fabrics found in upholstery and rugs.  Your furniture will be carefully assessed prior to cleaning.  Depending on your soiling conditions and the fabric type, we will use one or more of our approved cleaning or restoration methods:  Hot Water Extraction, Dry cleaning, Shampooing, Dry Foam cleaning, and Encapsulation.

Tile and Grout Cleaning – Both ceramic and porcelain tiles are cleaned using the same van mounted system as we use with our carpet cleaning.  Key differences are water pressure and cleaning solution mixture.  Natural stones are cleaned using a variety of other approved methods such as stripping, polishing and enhancement depending on the stone softness and porosity.  Also, just so you’ll know, if your grout is too soiled and doesn’t restore to look the way you want – we can recolor it!

Carpet Repair – We began offering this service of carpet repair and re stretching due to the large number of clients that were in need of this service during routine carpet cleaning.  We acquired the certification in Carpet Repair and Re-installation and purchased the most state-of-the-art tools available so that we could be confident every repair situation.  We use a power stretcher for removing wrinkles unless they are right up against the wall and can just be kicked in with an assist tool.  We use the new Kool Glide system for carpet seaming and bonded inserts.  We are not as fast as most installers but we haven’t had any complaints nor have we had to return for any of our repairs.

Pet Stain and Odor Removal – This is our specialty.  Every year, we continue to invest a good portion of our education budget to keeping up with the newest and best technologies and techniques associated with pet odor problems.  We will use a special moisture detection probe to determine the depth of urine contamination.   It is important to determine if just the carpet is affected or if the padding and/or subfloor has been affected by the urine.  We also have a special UV light that will detect any contaminated areas that may not exhibit any visible staining.  There are many options available when correcting pet stain and pet odor problems.  We can oxidize the contamination, use pairing agents to neutralize the odor molecules, use friendly enzymes to eat up the urine, we even have a way to remove urine from your padding without removing your carpet.

Area Rug CleaningWe will thoroughly inspect your rug to qualify it for proper rug cleaning.  The rugs construction and dye stability are the two main factors that play a role in determining if it should be cleaned in your home or not.  The most popular question we hear is “How do you clean them?”  Well, that depends on your rug and it’s soiling conditions.  As I have already mentioned, we are proficient with all approved cleaning methods and will choose the right one or right combination to ensure that your rug is properly cleaned.
