Getting Ready for Your Cleaning Appointment

We’re honored you’ve chosen us to care for your home. Our goal is to deliver the most thorough, stress-free cleaning experience possible. A little preparation goes a long way in helping everything go smoothly and efficiently on cleaning day.


Before We Arrive

  • Vacuum if you’re able. A quick vacuum ahead of time allows us to focus more time on deep cleaning.
  • Clear the driveway. Please make space closest to your entryway for our service van. If you’ll need to leave while we’re working, it’s best to move your vehicle out before we arrive.
  • Tidy the area. Remove small, light furniture like dining chairs, ottomans, toys, plants, and other floor items from the cleaning areas. If we’re just doing traffic areas, feel free to place items like baskets or nightstand clutter up on beds or sofas.
  • Secure pets. For their comfort and safety, please keep pets in a quiet area away from our work zone.
  • Mind the little ones. Curious kids + hoses + equipment = potential accidents. We want everyone safe, so please keep an eye on young children during service.

🪑 Furniture Notes

Some services include light furniture moving — others don’t. Please check with our office ahead of time so we’re all on the same page.

  • If we’re moving furniture, be sure to clear off breakables like lamps, picture frames, or décor ahead of time.
  • If we’re not, we’ll clean around and under as much as possible. We won’t move fragile or oversized items like china cabinets, entertainment centers, or antique pieces, but we can clean up to their edges or even hand-clean visible areas beneath them. Our cleaning tools allow us to get beneath most furniture without moving it.
  • Have something delicate? Let your tech know about any items with loose legs, glass tops, or known weak points.

✂️ Final Touches

  • Pin up floor-length curtains or furniture skirts so they’re at least 6 inches off the carpet.
  • Point out any specific stains or spots you want us to pay extra attention to.

About Your Appointment Time

You’ll be given an arrival window when you book. We do our best to stay on schedule, but in the rare event we’re delayed, we’ll call to keep you updated. We never rush through a job just to stay on time — and we don’t want to rush yours either.

Need to reschedule or make a change to your cleaning plan? Just give us a heads-up and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

We offer protectant treatments like Scotchgard or Maxim Advanced to help your carpet and upholstery resist future stains. If you’d like to add this or any other service, just let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
