Carpet Cleaning

Our 12 Step Carpet Cleaning Program

Before your carpet is cleaned please remove breakables and items from tables and other furniture that will be moved by our crew. Remove all small items such as boxes, magazines, shoes, etc. in the areas to be cleaned. Also, arrange for pets and children to be away from the area where we are cleaning.

The First thing we do is walk through the areas to be cleaned with you and create an assessment of your carpet soiling conditions and cleaning needs.  You show us your areas of concern so that we can adequately determine the means necessary to take care of those areas.  Also, we can advise if there is any possible permanent staining.  You’ll know everything up front and we don’t have any “hidden” fees.

Below is a step by step description of our 12-step restorative cleaning process.  It is the best and most thorough carpet cleaning available and will help your carpet to stay cleaner longer!

Step 1: Pre-inspection Our technician will walk through your home with you to visually inspect the carpet and address your areas of concern.  We will identify your fiber type, discuss your carpet conditions, potential permanent stains and give you an evaluation of expected results.  Furniture moving needs will be discussed as well.

Step 2: Professional Pre-grooming We pre-groom your carpet with a pile re-setter to make the fibers stand up.  This also loosens embedded soil to maximize the effectiveness of our pre-vacuuming.  It will help bring to the surface any hair (pet or human) that has gotten matted into the carpet fibers over time.

Step 3: Professional Dry Soil Extraction – We thoroughly vacuum the areas to be cleaned to remove abrasive dry soils.

Step 4: Furniture Moving – Sofas, chairs and tables will be carefully moved during your cleaning process and replaced in their original location with tabbed protectors underneath to protect your flooring and furnishings.

Step 5: Pre-conditioning, Pre-Treatments  & Pre-Spotting – Your carpet is pretreated with an appropriate cleaning solution.  This is mixed according to your soiling conditions, carpet style and Fiber type.  Rest assured that the products we use are safe for your family and pets.

Step 6: Agitation – Following pretreatment, the solution is worked into the fibers.  This helps the cleaning solution acquire better penetration and assists with suspending embedded soils.

Step 7: Hot Water Extraction and rinse – After a little dwell time, we use van mounted hot water extraction, also known as steam cleaning, to rinse and remove the dirt and other contaminants.  Water pressure and temperature are regulated to make sure your carpet is not over-wet.

Step 8: Advance Stain removal – Troublesome spots will receive further treatment with one of our specialty spot removers using advanced stain removal techniques.

Step 9: Neutralization – Every carpet we clean is neutralized and PH balanced so there are no sticky residues left behind to attract future soiling.  This treatment is applied during or after rinsing depending on soil conditions.  This important step also prepares your carpet to receive a fabric protection treatment such as Scotchgard.

Step 10: Professional Post-grooming – Carpet pile is groomed again to maximize space between each fiber. This improves air flow and visual appearance of your carpet.

Step 11: Speed Dry – High velocity air movers & dry bonnets can be used to enhance drying.

Step 12: Post inspection – Our technician will walk through your home with you to ensure you are completely satisfied with the job.
